Clip & Go Single-Sided Composite Decking — Our Best-Value Composite Deck
Clip & Go Single-Sided is the budget pick of our composite range — the same 138 x 23mm x 5.4m wood-plastic composite board as Clip & Go, with one finished colour face instead of two, at just $65 a board. Made from a blend of wood fibre and high-density polyethylene (HDPE), it won't splinter, rot or need oiling, and it's termite-proof and waterproof.
Boards fix down with concealed clips, so there are no visible screws on the deck surface. Use KlevaKlip Snap-Loc clips or the Clip & Go Clip Decking Kit — WoodEvo clips are not compatible. Choose from two colours: Coastal Blonde, a light natural timber tone, or Earthwood, a warm mid-brown.

Single-Sided has one colour face and is our lowest-cost composite. Clip & Go Double-Sided ($75) has a different colour on each face, so you can choose or mix finishes on site.

FAQ
How many boards do I need?
Each 5.4m board covers roughly 0.77 m². As a guide, allow about 1.3 boards per square metre, plus 5–10% for cuts and waste.
What joist spacing do I need?
Maximum 450mm centres.
Does composite decking need oiling?
No. Unlike timber, composite decking never needs oiling, staining or sanding. A wash with soapy water keeps it looking its best.
Which side goes up?
Lay the coloured, textured face up. The underside is unfinished.
